2022 Hyundai Palisade VS 2022 Toyota Highlander

One of the things that we like about trucks is the attention to detail by automakers. Most trucks aren’t only used for utility and work; some people drive them as their primary vehicle. This means comfort, performance, and luxury should be considered in addition to its ability to carry cargo. We’re going to compare two great pickup trucks from two top brands. Check out the Hyundai Palisade vs. the Toyota Highlander and see which truck is better.

The 2022 Hyundai Palisade comes with a 3.8L V6 engine which produces 291 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. The 2022 Toyota Highlander comes with a 3.5L V6 engine which produces 295 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque.

Both cars have an automatic transmission with eight gears and offer all-wheel drive (AWD) as an option on certain trims. The base trims for both cars have front-wheel drive (FWD) only.

Infotainment System

The infotainment system in the Hyundai Palisade and Toyota Highlander are similar in many ways but also have some key differences. The Palisade has an 8.0-inch touchscreen in the center console, while the Highlander has a 7.0-inch touchscreen. Both offer Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration and Wi-Fi hotspot capability.

Both cars also have a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines and pedestrian detection technology, which helps drivers to see what's behind them when backing up. However, only the Highlander offers blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.

The biggest difference between these two vehicles is that the Hyundai Palisade offers two USB ports for charging devices, while the Toyota Highlander only has one USB port for charging phones or other gadgets.
